Bingo continues every Friday night online and at the Craobhin in Termon, with a total payout of €4,500 to be won. Books can be purchased in Kevin’s shop/ Gracies stores or online via the Termon bingo facebook page.

Our senior men were away in action this weekend to Gweedore in the Gaeltacht competition. In wet conditions the men were ahead at half time, and finished with a one point victory. Goals coming from Daire McDaid x 2, Anthony Grant 1 and Ryan McFadden 1

Next up for the senior men is a home game versus McCumhaills at the Burn Road in the opening league fixture of the year, next Sunday 30th March.

The reserve men welcomed St Nauls to the Burn Road in Saturday evening last, in wet and miserable conditions the men worked hard , but the visitors took the victory in the Gaeltacht championship.

Next up for the team is the start of the all county league at home against McCumhaills on Sunday next, 30 th of March.

The Senior ladies will begin their league at home to Fanad Gaels also next Sunday at home throw in is at 10.30am.

The ladies Gaeltacht game last weekend against Naomh Conaill was rescheduled until another date. Details to be announced later.

The U10 girls had a fantastic experience on Sunday last as they played at half time during the senior county ladies game against Tipperary in Lifford. Termon along with Malin and Ardara, enjoyed the half time exhibition games in front of the assembled supporters. Thanks to everyone who made it all possible.

On the minor board side we had the U16 boys having their first competitive game of the season at home to Milford on Saturday last. In wet conditions the boys played well together to gain the win on the day, well done boys and management. Next up for this group is an away game to Fanad, on Monday 31st March.

The U14 boys had an away game in Glenfin in their Gaeltacht competition. A well played game saw the boys win the game and see a semi final place secured. More details on that game to be announced later.

The U10 boys had an amazing experience at the weekend, travelling all the way to Mayo, to play in a challenge match against castlebar sarsfields, and to then go to support the Donegal senior men’s team later that day. A really enjoyable day was had by all, and a fantastic effort from everyone involved in making it all happen, special mention to Kevin McCafferty Jnr of DPPS contracts who sponsored the boys meal in supermacs on the way home. Much appreciated by all involved.

An exciting time ahead with the imminent opening of the clubhouse has a hive of activity going on, and with this we await the announcement of the opening date.

A reminder to all members that registration is due by March 31st, any one still to register is urged to do so as soon as possible.

As the season gets up and going we remind members and supporters that we are a healthy club and that the club grounds are smoke and vape free area.

The Dermot Early group have now completed their second module of the initiative, and will take on their third and final module in the coming weeks, we await their final projects with great anticipation.

The club was represented at the Donegal Gaa organised youth conference in ATU Letterkenny at the weekend by club members, Damhan Mcgettigan, Casey Reid, Cara Mcgettigan Kevin McGettigan and Ellen Callaghan. A fantastic event from the county health and wellbeing team, who organised the event, with speakers from jigsaw, drugs and alcohol awareness, gambling and mental health all covered. Keynote speakers was online star, Rory O Conner, (Rory’s Stories)

Who gave a great talk on mental health amongst other things. Thanks to Donegal Gaa for having us.

The club’s coaches were out and about last week in all the local national schools letting all the boys and girls know that all the groups are now back training and welcoming new members. Please contact Grainne on 087 756 1687, or any club member.

The mothers and others group are also welcoming new members, as they prepare to start their fun and non competitive training sessions again. Please contact Declan on (087) 233 0980 for further information. This is a fantastic way to get out meet new friends and have a bit of craic and exercise at the same time in a non competitive environment. Anyone over 18 is welcome to, no previous football experience necessary.

The healthy clubs team are on the lookout for new members also, if you can spare an hour or two helping organise events or helping out in general, please contact healthy clubs officer Ellen on 0863229519. It is hoped to carry out a healthy clubs survey shortly, to get the communities thoughts on what they would like to like to see brought to the area in the future.
